Scrappytrip addiction!

Came across   Rita's scrappy tripalong at Red Pepper Quilts and thought it was a great idea to use up some strips rom a jelly roll that I had left over. 

Loving it! Amazing what you can achieve in a lunch break! I have one more block to make and will then decide which 4 to put together for a small lap quilt.

Happy New Year....

Christmas is over and the decorations are down. Not a single stitch has been sewn but that is about to change as I have lots of ideas for new projects.  Random images to follow......

It looks gorgeous in the lounge!I was tempted to orfer the larger size but I think this does the job nicely.

Sunday snaps....

A bit if this and a bit of that....

Wanted to make some small mats using Kaffe scraps, improvised quilt as you go method.I dont want to give them away now! I can see a production line this afternoon!

Ths is my first attempt at Hand quilting!!!! I am quite happy with it and actually enjoyed it! I am not using a frame, I couldnt get on with it. And I am sure my technique is way off the planet but I dont care! End result is as required! This is my Mama said Sew street quilt, pattern from the Moda Bake Shop. 

I have 2 lap quilts from recylcled pajamas waiting to be bound, they are looking good. Pictures later.
