Here we are in November, and I have been very busy - so I thought it was time I shared some of the things I have been up to!

I havent made hearts in ages so I used some of the fabric I bought at the Knitting and Stitching Show at Ali Pali last month. I cant wait to go to Japan in March to see my son and visit the classic sites in cherry blossom time!
I couldnt resist this retro looking basket at a great little shop in Christchurch.
Nor this wire stand ,freat for all my newly finished bits and pieces, which was in a great little second hand store - it came with plastic fruit but I let the shop hols onto that!
And just in time for Christmas I finally got to use a little piece of my Michael Miller fabric purchased at the Knitting and Stiching show in Birmingham- I love rag cushions, not least because accuracy is not so critical!!
I havent backed it yet , I like to use the front of a mans shirt with the buttons all there ready and waiting!

And here is the still not finished grandmothers garden quilt which still waits to be quilted by hand- I have had a couple of goes but it is something I need to improve on.

I would like to say thanks to My Three Sons for her great tutorial for the hexagon needlecase- I made a few of these for presents.

Also to Sew Katie Did for her tutorial for Bird mobile- I have mad ea few of these birds for free standing rather than on a mobile but they are really cute.

Well, thats about it- but I would like to say thank you for all you inspirational bloggers out there who constantly provide resources and ideas and wonderful ideas, it is a real pleasure to read the blogs. Apologies if I have missed any acknowledgements and I hope the links work properly!
