Filling in the blanks.....

Been a busy time , so it is time I updated the blog.

A trip to London was wet but enjoyable at the weekend, and the Bronze exhibition at the Royal academy was brilliant. Sadly you cannot take pictures, so the only time the camera came out was in Regent street in the rain! I have never worked out why there is always a crane in the picture!
Purchases were very limited in London, one piece of Liberty print!Very restrained for me.....

Now for finished projects- this is the bound 1600 jelly roll quilt in a basic grey range , which I am happy with but not keen on the colours- it has gone off to a Christmas fair with my daughter!

Next, I decided that I had to make the little quilt on the Moda Bake shop site recently- it is made from Mama sais Sew, which I just happened to have as I sent for it from the States. Not yet backed , but will be soon!
And then I saw a post ( will try and remember whose)about using up triangle scraps- perfect for the offcuts, so I gave it a try and ended up with these blocks-

Then I decided to whip up a little prem baby quilt for linus, here it is -

I decided it was time to tidy up the finished quilts and rearrange some books for a general tidy up-

And finally- one of my clients was clearing out lots of her quilting mags and patterns from the attic!
Whoop whoop- here is a picture of some of the goodies! Plenty of bed time reading for the next year I reckon! and a few paper patterns for animal blocks and a few templates!

There must be abput 120 magazines, all from the last 12 years, full of ideas and information. I am one lucky person!

Off to back and bind my hexi union jack. Watch this space...
