Taking the Americans to Greenwich.....

Had a lovely ( but cold) day in London yesterday, showing the sights to a couple of American friends from Texas.
Fisrts stop was the Olympic village, sadly you cannot walk in the par any longer as it is being redeveloped as housing and business.

So we hopped back on the Docklands light railway and went to Royal Greenwhich, which although I am  a Londoner by birth, I hadnt visited before- just went to the lovely Greenwich market on previous visits!

i got up at the crack of dawn to drop them off at Heathrow, and came home to complete the refurbishment of the beach hut. And here is the finished article!

Very happy with the new interior colours this year- all from a charity shop find of 2 pairs of John Lewis curtains!

Now I am having a well deserved glass of wine, some smoked slamon nibbles and Elaine Page on the radio- who could ask for more??

Hxx
